Taxi is ordered to take us to Birmingham airport in about 24 hours.... Suitcases are full..probably over packed as usual. Had our haircuts and at least one of us had our nails done. So all holiday ready.
Was googling "how to get an upgrade" so called the airline asked how full the flights are (1st leg is full others fairly busy) and put a spin on the whole..its a special holiday..birthdays..anniversary...so if any upgrades planned please bear us in mind. Next step is to dress smart and be nice to the airline staff. Won't hold my breath but worth a try.
It's going to be a long journey but planning to think of the 20+ hours of travel as all part of the adventure. Sri Lanka look out..we are coming soon.
